Aim: learn to introduce and speak about yourself

7. practice with a classmate, time it (1 min.) - make necessary changes

8. when ready, introduce yourself to the class as best as you can!

HOW TO MEET PEOPLE

Aim: learn how to meet and speak to people

Criteria for success: overall impression, grammar, pronunciation, fluency, content, organization, and vocabulary.

You are meeting a new schoolmate for the first time. Get to know her as much as possible.

1. Prepare questions to ask about a variety of topics, look up phrases to use when meeting new people

2. Check that your questions are correct, use DeepL Write feature or other online tools

3. When you are ready, go to meet your classmates pretending it is for the first time 

Can you find out some new information about them?

4. Describe one person in the class to others. Can we guess who that is?

5.  Reflective journal: What have you learnt today? write your answer.

1.Shoot a video where you introduce yourself or your classmates
OR
2. Create a how-to learning tool for introductions in English.
